Inexpensive fixes to help you sell your house

Here are some quick tips to help you sell your house fast!

Do a drive by on your house- evaluate how your home appears from the car.  This is the first impression a buyer will see.  Make sure it's a good one.

Dress up your front door- whether that be with a coat of paint, new trim or even a new door, buyers pay attention to it's appeal.

Wash your windows inside and out- if you have old and torn curtains take them down.  Let the light shine in.

Power wash the outside of your home- make it appear as clean as possible.

Update the fixtures throughout your home- this can go a long way with buyers and you don't have to spend alot of money to do it.

Paint and take down wall paper- most buyers prefer a clean slate and wall paper is usually very personal.  A fresh coat of paint in each room can make a huge difference.  Neutral shades add a broader appeal.  Today's shades include:
Off whites- preferable to pure white
Grays- especially warm gray tones in lighter shades
Browns- lighter shades of greige (a blend of gray and beige), grawn (a slighly darker blend of gray and brown) and other beige/tan shades are all good options.

Don't skip on repairs- fix leaky faucets, damaged window screens, and closet doors that slip off their tracks.

Stage your home- less is best and declutter.
